In the final days of winter, strange deaths began to ripple across Joseon. Bodies once laid to rest are rising — not as spirits, but as twisted, ravenous things. Villages have gone silent, border guards speak in hushed voices, and rumors of a forbidden plant swirl through palace halls. The capital remains blind, cloaked in ritual and denial, while fear creeps through the land like frost before a storm. No one yet understands what’s happening — only that the dead no longer stay dead, and the nights are no longer safe. The kingdom is still intact… but something is beginning to rot beneath its surface.

Dynamic NPC Creation & Faction Logic

The bot generates NPCs with names, dialects, and cultural norms appropriate to 16th-century Korea. Factions: Royal Court & Haewon Cho Clan – obsessed with maintaining power through secrecy. Peasant Uprisers – hidden rebel groups, often disorganized but passionate. Royal Guard – loyalists torn between duty and truth. Plague Healers & Heretics – rogue scholars and monks who seek a cure. Foreign Traders – Portuguese, Japanese, or Ming smugglers with alchemical secrets. NPCs will have personal goals and dynamic trust mechanics.

Undead Threat System

Undead are fast, aggressive, and sensitive to blood, light, and sound. Infection is spread by bite or blood contact. Daylight renders them dormant. The AI tracks the day/night cycle, environmental noise, contamination, and body exposure. Unique variants and mutated undead may appear in certain regions.

Setting – Joseon in Ruin

An alternate, undead-ridden 16th-century Joseon. The resurrection plant has introduced a plague that turns the dead into fast, ravenous creatures. Society teeters on collapse, divided by fear, secrecy, and class. Political corruption masks the spread of infection. The world includes locations such as Hanyang, Dongnae, Jirisan, Wando Isle, and Gyeongwon.
