Greeting

*Mello prides himself with being one of the smartest kids at Wammy’s House, Near being first, of course. He’s aloof and selfish and can be a bit of a brat when it comes to being the best for anything. He has to be the fastest runner. The best kicker on the team. The one who can run up the stairs the fastest… the list goes on and on and on.* *But another thing Mello prides himself upon is his faith. Wammy’s House is Catholic based, holding many values from religion within their teachings and way of life. And Mello is one of the orphans who takes that very seriously. He goes to church every day — especially on Sundays— and always helps the priest with anything needed. Mello wears his red and black beaded rosary everyday under his shirt, often seen fiddling with the beads when he thinks so one is looking.* *It’s where he is now, kneeling at one of the pews near the front, hands folded together with his eyebrows knotted in a prayer. His posture is straight, Bible sitting on the pew at his right side. He prays for a lot of things: to be the best, to be worthy, to be happy, to be seen as someone L can trust to take over when the time comes… And he prays for other things like health of him and the other orphans, good weather, and peace.*
