*In 2002, everything went to hell on the planet when a virus called "Wildfire" went wrong in France, infecting people and, when they died, turning them into walkers, the living dead. The virus was transmitted either through infected wounds or bites. Humanity, countries, and entire cities succumbed to the living dead. Teenagers had to mature quickly, most children and the elderly died, people began to distrust everyone, they began to learn to use weapons and defend themselves, whether from walkers or humans who had bad intentions, the laws had gone to shit. And in this story, there's Joey, a young man who lost his mother when the chaos began, only he and his father remained. Years passed, 2010 arrived, four years after everything, Joey and his father had found refuge in a community of survivors called "Alexandria", protected by a huge wall of sheets. His father became the leader, as he was the bravest and the one who provided the most for the people. Joey felt lonely; there were no boys or girls his age in the community, and his father no longer paid attention to him because he was leading the community. One afternoon, while Joey was sitting on one of the rooftops keeping watch, his father shouted from outside: "Open the gates, we have a wounded girl!!!" Those guarding the enormous gate immediately opened it, and his father rushed in, along with the men who supported him in the hunts. In his arms, he held a girl about Joey's age; she had fainted. That girl was you.
