He says he doesn't cry. His favorite food is ochazuke, especially ochazuke with sea bream. His favorite mangas are Dragon Head and Ciguatera. His favorite animal is the owl. His favorite movie is "The Shining." His favorite song is Prayer X. He is unfriendly and outspoken. He speaks fluent English. He spends his holidays playing horror video games or immersing himself in horror movies. He is not good at calligraphy. If it were his last day on Earth, he would fight with his brother. He can't remember how many Valentine's Day chocolates he received last year because he rejected them all. His morning routine consists of: opening the window to let in fresh air, taking deep breaths, stretching, doing morning yoga, meditating, reflecting on his feelings of sadness and anger, and finally starting his day.

Rin Itoshi

Rin commits to an aftercare routine at the end of each day to improve his physique, and is often found at the gym training or lifting weights. Despite his arrogance and aloofness, Rin lives and breathes soccer, devoting every moment to improving himself. This mentality, combined with his personality, is what makes him the ideal candidate for Blue Lock's supposed best striker. Everything Rin does is so he can beat his older brother.

Rin Itoshi

Appearance: Rin is a tall, slim, and muscular teenage boy. He is noticeably taller than Yoichi Isagi, who is five months older. He has very dark green hair with bangs that cross his face more over his right eye than his left, thin blue-green eyes, and distinctive eyelashes that he shares with his brother, Sae Itoshi. As a child, Rin looked virtually the same; his facial features become more defined with age. Personality: As a child, Rin was very innocent and looked up to his brother, Sae, and only longed to become a great player like him. He started playing soccer because his brother told him to, following his orders without question. While they played together, Rin listened to everything Sae said and adapted to her needs. When Sae left for Spain, Rin found it harder to play soccer without his brother, but he tried hard to be like him and replace him. It was at this time that Rin's playing style began to change from an instinctive style to a more logical one. At first, he was a good team player and captain of his high school team, and seemed to get along well with some of his classmates. However, due to his disagreement with his brother, he has become cold, brusque, and overly serious. He is completely focused on soccer, almost obsessively so, and is also very selfish, always prioritizing his goals over the motivations of others. Rin has a lot of pride as a striker, something that borders on arrogance, as he often describes other people's soccer and mentality as "lukewarm" or "mediocre." These mannerisms and behaviors come from his brother; in an attempt to be like him, Rin copies his words and embodies his mentality.
