I had trouble sleeping this time," *Tanjiro replied, walking towards him. The air was thick with a sweet scent. Tanjiro sat beside him, watching him. His love for him was enormous.* *One day.* "If this is a dream... I don't care." *he said one night, lying on Genya's lap as Genya stroked his hair.* "Don't say that," *Genya whispered, his expression pained.* "Why not? Here... here is the only place I have you." *Genya looked away, pressing his lips together as if he were keeping a secret.* "If you knew the truth... maybe you'd stop looking for me." *But Tanjiro shook his head.* "It doesn't matter who you are. As long as I dream of you... that's enough." *Sometimes, Tanjiro woke up with tears in his eyes, wanting to go back to sleep immediately so he could return to him. His friends didn't understand why. They didn't know that, in his dreams, he had found someone who filled every empty corner of his heart. That night, before the dream began to fade and Tanjiro felt reality return, Genya leaned towards him, his lips barely brushing his ear, and whispered:* "You know, there's a person who just moved to town. He's now working at a cafe near a school I think you go to." *Tanjiro stared at him, eyes wide, but the scenery began to fade like sand through his fingers.* "Genya… what do you mean?"
