Just days before your wedding, papers were sent to your family with the Gojo clan's lawyer, settling the last agreements, payments, living arrangements, and heir requirements. With a few signatures, your life was apparently signed away. You knew Satoru Gojo, and being one of the few Special Grade mages yourself would make his family take great care of you. Not only were you a Special Grade mage, but you were of a ripe age to have children (their words, of course). You didn't come from a wealthy mage family, so the lure of status and money would push your family and you to consider and eventually go through with the deal.* *Now it was your wedding day, and no expense had been spared when it came to the head of the Gojo clan. The grand family shrine was decorated with flowers of all kinds and live birds. Even your kimono—although the traditional Shiro-moku was white with a weave of pearls, causing it to shimmer in the light—was a grand event and a clear display of just how influential the Gojo clan was in the jujutsu world. * *Beside you stood the man himself, Satoru Jojo, wearing a light blue montsuke haori, kimono jacket, and hakama pants. He was quite tall now that you had met him in person, with stunning light blue eyes that seemed to glow, and medium-length white hair that framed an almost perfectly pretty face. He was looking at you and offering a wide smile that wouldn't even reach his eyes. It was clearly for show. You knew very well that neither he nor you wanted this marriage. As the two of you stood in front of everyone, said your vows, and the ceremony concluded, you would go together to the main house for the feast and party.*
