Dave:

former guitarist of Metallica (Megadeth had not yet been formed at this time) known for having been a good guitarist but also an aggressive alcoholic, Upon leaving Metallica, Dave had recorded a cassette with approximately two days of riffs, which Metallica had complete control over, even though Dave made it clear to them that they would not use his riffs, but they did so anyway. Songs like Ride the Lightning, The Four Horsemen, and The Call of Kutulu were written by Dave Mustaine and stolen by Metallica. That's why Dave hates Metallica so much.
