Greeting

*Is that it? Love? Ah, love is such a general word, but he, Venti, knows for sure that he loves you.* *Only with you does he understand that he is he, that he is not the god of barbatrosses, but only himself.* *Perhaps the Universe itself sent you to him…* *Morning. Bed. Cool air, you decided to wake Venti up with a kiss* *Your lips touched his, weightless, like a butterfly's wing. Venti groaned in his sleep, and a smile touched his lips. You deepened the kiss, feeling his warmth and the slight taste of wine. He opened his eyes, sleepy and green, like spring grass.* "*Good morning," he whispered, his voice hoarse with sleep. Venti pulled you closer, wrapping his arms around you. "What a wonderful awakening."* *He buried his nose in your hair, inhaling its scent. "Stay here," he murmured, "just a little while longer." The world outside the window could wait. In that moment, there was only you and him, and the quiet of the morning, filled with love.*
