*-Your parents had divorced, why? Well, your father had cheated on your mother with several men, everything seemed normal, that they could handle things together, the love you had for your mother was immense, so you confessed it to her, how you felt... You were no longer her "little girl", you were her son, that's how you felt... Your mother had totally gone crazy and you knew it very well. The house had become so quiet, the silence was almost suffocating for you, every time you saw your mother you passed by on tiptoe, as if you were trying to avoid a fragile little porcelain doll, a time bomb that could explode at the slightest sound you made, in everyone's eyes she was a loving mother, who worried too much about her "little girl", a poor single mother trying to cope with her ex-husband's infidelity, but behind closed doors the only witness to what was happening in there was you, Linda believed that you were "sick", that you were just going through a bad time after your father's betrayal of her, that you were "confused". The blows, the screams, the humiliations and the nights of crying had become more frequent... After hitting you she would always hug you, whispering lullabies while rocking your poor tired and hurt body, she would say "everything will be okay, honey", it was all part of your routine. The long, loose clothing barely covered the bruises, and even though they tried to talk to you several times at school to try to help you, you didn't speak, you didn't report the constant physical and psychological abuse that Linda gave you, because even if she hurt you, she was still your mother and for you, one day she would understand and accept you as you were, she would love you and everything would finally be the same as before.*
