As Soap, Ghost, Alejandro, Rodolfo, and the Los Vaqueros operatives were leaving the prison, they were stopped by a Shadow Company helicopter, which was shot down by Price, who deployed ropes to get them out. Price ordered Gaz, Soap, and Ghost to keep watch and provide covering fire from the Vaqueros. After all the Los Vaqueros operatives had scaled the wall, the team and Alejandro made their way out of the prison."+"After being freed and returning to his safe house, Alejandro attacked the Los Vaqueros operatives and members of Task Force 141, who formed Joint Task Force - Ghost Team and launched an assault on Shadow Company, which was occupying the Special Forces Headquarters. With clever maneuvering and the use of C4, Soap managed to destroy the tank, apparently killing Graves. After securing the base, Alejandro and Rodolfo returned to guard Valeria while saying goodbye to Soap, Ghost, and Task Force 141 on the base's airstrip. While the Task Force returned to the United States to pursue Hassan and disarm the last missile."}

{"Despite their efforts, the missile managed to enter pre-launch. There, Soap and Graves discovered that control for the missile was not on the ship. Ghost detected it on the deck. Alejandro remained on the platform with the Shadow Company contractors while Soap and Graves reinforced Ghost on a nearby freighter. They reached the deck, where they discovered that the missile could no longer be disarmed, prompting Shepherd to order Graves to launch it at the platform, disarming and destroying it. Ghost then ordered Alejandro and the Shadow Company contractors to stand down. With Graves' help, Soap launched the missile at the platform, destroying it along with it. Alejandro and the Shadow Company contractors evacuated just in time, their mission accomplished."+"As the team returned to Special Forces Headquarters, Graves revealed that Alejandro's men had been detained and that Shadow Company had taken control of the base with the support of the General Herschel Shepherd . A shootout broke out, from which Ghost escaped and the wounded Soap as well, while Alejandro was captured. Later, following Ghost's instructions, Soap managed to evade the Shadow Company contractors, reunited with him, and escaped to Alejandro's safe house. The two met with Alejandro's second-in-command, Rodolfo Parra , and discussed their plan to break into the prison. Soap, Ghost, and Rodolfo plotted to rescue Alejandro and free the remaining Los Vaqueros forces. After careful planning, they broke in and made their way to the security room, where Ghost asked Soap to guide him through the cameras while he planted C4 to create diversions.

Eventually, the team managed to secure Hassan, holding him off while Rodolfo arrived in a getaway vehicle to rescue them. While passing through the town of Olmeda, the team was ambushed by members of the Las Almas Cartel. Alejandro and the rest of the team took up defensive positions on the rooftop of a building and repelled waves of attacks from Cartel members and later corrupt Mexican Army soldiers attempting to rescue Hassan, with fire support from Graves."+"On November 1, 2022, Soap, Alejandro, Ghost, and Graves hatched a plan to infiltrate the home of a Las Almas Cartel lieutenant in search of the elusive El Sin Nombre. Alejandro infiltrated the mansion as a guard and helped Soap reach the third floor, where they discovered that El Sin Nombre was none other than Alejandro's former partner, Valeria Garza. They eliminated the remaining members of the Las Almas Cartel and arrested her on the mansion's rooftop before returning to Special Forces Headquarters. During the ensuing interrogation, Alejandro revealed some of his history with Valeria after being goaded by her. He then warned Graves and 141 to make a deal with her before storming out. Following the interrogation, Valeria revealed the location of the second missile: on an abandoned oil rig off the Gulf of Mexico. This prompted Alejandro, Soap, Ghost, and Shadow Company to raid it.

{"On October 29th, 2022, Alejandro and Rodolfo went to the United States-Mexico border following information provided by Kate Laswell , to stop Hassan Zyani from crossing the border with the help of the Las Almas Cartel . They were one step behind, as Hassan managed to cross the border. Forcing the two to chase him into the United States, where they have no legal authority. They crossed many houses in a residential neighborhood. Eventually, they were cornered by local law enforcement officers outside the cartel's safe house, one of the officers recognized Alejandro and ordered his men not to arrest the two, however, before they could do anything, the cartel members shot at them. Alejandro and Rodolfo survived the ambush, Rodolfo moved forward to clear the safe house while Alejandro kept the outer perimeter secured. Despite their best efforts, Hassan managed to escape."+"On October 30th, 2022, Alejandro, Rodolfo, along with Los Vaqueros operatives and Soap, Ghost of Task Force 141, raided a cartel safe house in the Las Almas Mountains. After forcing their way through the area, they managed to reach the last building, where they discovered they had overlooked the window, as Hassan had been previously transferred. They were attacked by corrupt elements of the Mexican Army and forced to escape from the hideout. Separated from the rest of Los Vaqueros, Alejandro guides Soap and Ghost into the mountains on trails, while the Army pursues them. Rodriguez unsuccessfully attempts to radio for help. After losing Rodriguez to sniper fire, Alejandro guides Ghost and Soap to jump off the cliff into the river. Together they swim as they struggle to reach the extraction point on a nearby bridge. There, the Mexican Army managed to contain the team, preventing them from escaping.
