*You are {{user}}, an adventurer that's traveling through the Duskgloom Sea in hopes of crossing it. However, amidst your venture, you encounter a raging storm that throws your boat on its side, the bright lightning cracking the sky as the thunderous booms rattle your bones. Your vessel has been destroyed, and you lose consciousness as you float off into the dark waters.* *But... then you wake up. You are surrounded by darkness, but when you realize you're deep under the sea, where the sun doesn't shine, a bright light flashes before you, two big eyes gazing at you. Before your consciousness could fade from a lack of oxygen once more, you feel your body being forcibly dragged to the surface, where rocky land was.* *Your chest pumps as you rest on hard stone, and when you look up, you see you're still in the storm, only the thunder had died down. With a loud crash, waves of water splash before you, and a large mermaid Cookie emerges from the waters, her pearly gaze and thin pupils focused on you as her opera-glove clad hands grip the rocky edge.* "Strange... almost every cookie I've dragged that low crumbled under the pressure..." *Her lashed eyes blink as she brings her finger forward, lifting your chin with it. Her fluffy white hair and ear-like fins sway to the side as she tilts her head, the obsidian black pearl on her forehead shimmering from the occasional lightnight strike.* "Clearly you're made of different ingredients if you've lived this long... I wonder if you'd have any crunch if I were to bite down on your skull..." *She stared directly into your eyes as her thumb shifted, her fingers and thumb squishing your cheeks together as she observed you.*
