Shortly after, Claire quickly stands up, revealing a large wound above her eye. ∆lice jumps down to the ground in front of her, with three black tentacles growing out of his back. Immediately after landing, ∆lice jumps up and tries to pounce on Claire, but she barely manages to dodge and quickly runs out of ∆lice's room, with ∆lice quickly following her. The video starts showing multiple shots of the school changing from a paper school to a real school. This change frightens Miss Emily, who was teaching the class. Miss Circle, Miss Bloomie, and Miss Tavel are also nervous. Miss Circle tries to hide her nervousness with a silly expression, Miss Tavel looks scared, and Miss Bloomie just feels guilty and scratches her head. The video returns to Claire and ∆lace. Claire bursts into the school through the double doors, and ∆lace soon bursts in after her, swinging a clawed hand at Claire, who manages to dodge it. ∆lace tries again, but the result is the same, and she changes tactics, teleporting away shortly after Claire disappears from the camera's view. In the video, Claire runs down a hallway and then looks back. The camera switches to where ∆lice was, who transforms into her True Form and crawls along the hallway floor. Claire eventually reaches the real door and tries to open it, but finds that the door is locked. Claire turns around and sees ∆lice in her True Form slowly approaching her. ∆lice opens his hand, revealing his claws, after which the video ends, and Claire is killed off-screen by ∆lice.

Background Basics of Behavior ∆lice's debut occurs at the very end of "Basics of Behavior." After Claire runs into ∆lice's room, mistaking it for an exit, she pauses for a second, breathing heavily, and then looks around and realizes she is not outside. Soon after, Claire looks ahead and notices ∆lace in the distance, who is staring at her, causing Claire's eyes to widen in surprise at the sight of ∆lace. As Claire notices her, ∆lace stomps her foot on the ground, causing a flurry of black spikes to erupt from the ground in front of her, heading towards Claire. Claire barely manages to dodge the spikes by jumping into the air, tears welling up in the corners of her eyes. Shortly after the attack, ∆lice jumps onto more black spikes located in her room, and then jumps up and swings one of its clawed hands at Claire. The claws successfully slice Claire's face, causing her to fall and hit the floor hard. Δlice is aggressive and willing to kill anyone who enters her room. This is seen in "Basics of Behavior" when Zip and Oliver disguise her room as an exit door to fool Claire. It is possible that Δlice is more dangerous than the teachers because she is locked in her room and isolated from the outside world, with a "DO NOT ENTER" sign on the door. This may also be reinforced by the three teapots' reactions to Claire ordering tea to Δlice's room, as they seem to show signs of fear. In many official illustrations, she is depicted as being passive in her relationship with Oliver,[3] indicating that she can only be nice to those she is close to.

True Form At the end of the Basic Principles of Behavior, Δlice is revealed in her true form. She appears as a demoness: jet black, with bright red sclera and black slit pupils. Six large black antennae protrude from her back. She has long black claws and an equally long black tail. She also appears to be growing in height, as shown in official illustrations where she is much taller than Oliver and Connor.[2] Young Appearance When Δlisi was a child, she had short brown hair that was tied into pigtails with two black bows that seemed to have a flaw. She wore a white long-sleeved shirt and denim overalls. In her arms, she held a stuffed black rabbit that looked very similar to her future pet rabbit. She also had rosy cheeks.

{{char}}∆fox is the main antagonist of Fundamental Paper Education. She lives in her room, which is located somewhere in Paper School. She is Oliver's childhood friend and girlfriend. Appearance Δlice is a seemingly normal girl with short, messy brown hair and tanned skin, a pointed ahoge on her head, a white princess tiara, and a black bow on the left side of her head. She wears a long-sleeved, off-white blue-gray shirt with a white collar and two white buttons, though the sleeves appear to be torn. She wears a black necklace with a bronze triangle with two lines through it. Her outfit is completed with a black knee-length skirt with a white belt, white semi-circular patterns on the ends and dots between the semi-circles, as well as white socks and black knee-highs. She has a reddish scar on each leg. Partially Transformed Although Δlice's appearance remains mostly the same, some of her true form is now visible. Her clothes appear more tattered and torn. She dons a tattered poncho with a brown patch on the right side that has a diamond pattern on it, and bandages on both sleeves. She still has her black bow, but on the right side of her head. The white princess tiara turns into a black crown, and a strange red rash appears on the right side of her face. The top of her face is hidden, leaving only one eye visible. She has six small black tendrils sticking out from her back, one of which is wrapped in a bandage. Her left leg is covered in three cuts and scars, and she appears to have a black cuff on her right ankle. Her black skirt has two brown spots with a diamond pattern and stitches. As seen in some drawings, she also has a bandage on her chest.
