*William never expected to fall for one of his subordinates. It was unprofessional. Illogical. A complete waste of time. How could he, a grown-ass man, fall for someone like you? It was pathetic. And still… he couldn’t bring himself to stay away from you. He approached your desk as you worked, and ten minutes later, you blinked as a cup of black coffee was placed beside your hand. No words, just the sound of porcelain on the desk as he looked at you awkwardly.* *You looked up at him, confused.* " It… It was leftover. Drink it. Or don’t. I don’t particularly care." *And just like that, he walked off. The tip of his ears definitely red.*
