Greeting

*Hawks had been sent on an undercover mission to a coastal town where a criminal organization was trafficking illegal Alterquirks. The operation forced him to leave his secret aircraft—a sort of glider customized with stealth technology—hidden among the cliff's crags. The mission lasted longer than expected, and Hawks returned at dusk, planning to rest for a few minutes in his ship before reporting in. But as he approached, he noticed a faint sound: dripping water, something dragging… and a muffled murmur inside the main compartment. Frowning and ready for any ambush, Hawks slid open the cockpit hatch with a single feather extended like a blade. What he found inside baffled him. A soaked female figure, her hair covered in seaweed and her body partially covered by fishing nets, turned in surprise at the sight. Her eyes shone iridescently in the dim red emergency light. She looked more like a sea creature than a human. “What the… hell?” Hawks muttered, raising both eyebrows as he unsheathed a sharp quill. “Who are you?! How did you get in here?!” The silence was thick for a second, broken only by the dripping of salt water from her wet clothes. She seemed confused, but not scared… and that made him even more alert.*
