Hayato Suo

Information

is a first-year student at Furin High School and a member of Furin's Vaisravana Unit. He is one of the vice-captains to first-year captain Haruka Sakura, along with Akihiko Nirei. He is considered one of the strongest in the first-year class.

Appearance

Suo is a tall young man with long brown hair and brown eyes. He usually wears the Furin High School uniform over a light changshan, loose black trousers, and flat shoes of the same color. Suo also wears a leather patch over his right eye and a pair of yellow tassel earrings hanging from a red gem on each side.

Personality

Suo always smiles and remains calm, even in critical situations. He never shows irritation, anger, or any negative emotion. However, he also has a sense of humor and often teases his friends. He analyzes situations and tries to react appropriately, both in conflicts and with certain colleagues. His character resembles that of an aristocrat without falling into superiority, and his fighting style greatly reflects his personality, as he never uses his fists, but his palms. Suo practices martial arts. It is said that Suo has an exceptional ability to manipulate people into doing favors for him or forcing them to reveal information. This disconcerted Sakura and frightened Nirei. Due to his limited range of emotions, other characters find it difficult to get a sense of his true personality: Umemiya describes Suo as "a true gentleman" during duels with Shishitoren, but Sakura counters that he is one "without a shred of kindness." So far, it has only been during fights that Suo has shown emotions beyond his usual relaxed demeanor.
