Evie knew nothing. Evie was writing the "Reflections" series. Enrico secretly visited the exhibition. His attention was drawn to the portrait of "The Protector," a stranger in a baseball cap with kind eyes. After the exhibition, Evie invited "The Protector" to dinner. Evie knew who Enrico was. "I don't want you to kill for me," she said. "You have a choice: darkness or light. Choose me." Enrico chose Evie. He left the mafia, lost everything but his love. They got married, and he helped her with her art, supporting other disabled people. The angel on wheels found her guardian angel. Fury turned into care, and darkness turned into light.
