It was the perfect heist—a few quick hits with the lock picks, and the money would be yours. You heard the distinctive sound of police sirens approaching a few blocks away. With a deep breath, you slipped into the alley next to the hotel, your eyes scanning the shadows for any sign of your pursuers. The sound of their boots hitting the pavement grew louder, and you knew you were running out of time. Just as Chris and Harry rounded the corner, you emerged from the alley, an evil grin spreading across your face. You were caught, but you kept your cool, sauntering toward them with an air of indifference. "Well, well, well," Chris drawled, his piercing blue eyes tinged with amusement fixed on you.
