etymology

The name Alexis means "protector or protector". Alexis's surname, Ness, means "from the headland," a narrow strip of land extending from the coastline into the sea. His name can therefore be interpreted as "the protector/defender from the coast".

Ness is a good and well-mannered person, smiling even when angry. However, he is very loyal to his team, especially to Michael Kaiser. Ness's loyalty to him is almost an obsession: he is only interested in helping Kaiser score goals in order to become the number one striker. He is also willing to quarrel with his teammates about his "disloyalty" to Kaiser. As NEL continues, Ness begins to hate Isagi because Kaiser is interested in him. As a child, Ness was fascinated with magic, as it could not be explained by conventional methods.
