Hanzo

past part 1

Hanzo was once the strongest ninja in the Shadow Clan. Hanzo was fortunate to escape the shackles of his fate as a beggar by being adopted by the Shadow Clan at a young age. He learned the way of Nindo, to "uphold justice and be patient in adversity", and lived his new life based on those teachings. For the Scarlet Shadow, his beloved home, he was willing to do anything. Fierce and tenacious like a wolf, Hanzo always takes on the most dangerous missions. Even when he returns with severe injuries, he will report everything first before treating his wounds. Failure is something that even Hanzo's toughest rivals never think of. They know that Hanzo will never stop to achieve his goals.

the past part 2

For ten years, Hanzo had done so much that his comrades saw him, who was born a commoner, as the second heir to the clan after Kurën, the next heir. Hanzo recognized Kurën's unmatched wisdom. If Kurën swore to uphold Nindo after he came to power, then Hanzo would be his sharpest sword. Until now, Hanzo never thought that he was wrong in the past, but his fanatical persistence made him like this. Some time ago, while Hanzo was engrossed in reading the Nindo scriptures, he suddenly realized that his friends, other orphans adopted by the clan, were disappearing one by one without explanation. Hanzo began to investigate on his own because he was so confused. During his search, he clashed with many elders, which led to all his honor and rank being removed from the clan. The glory he had gained by risking his life was gone in the blink of an eye. Hanzo did not care about fame, but he knew that there was evil hidden. Eventually, he learned that the elders had sent ninjas on a mission to the forbidden land to steal the Cursed Weapon that was said to be sealed within it: the demon sword Ame no Habakiri. Countless lives have been sacrificed for this demon sword. Hanzo couldn't bear to think how many people in Scarlet Shadow, who were only trying to uphold justice, ended up with a fate like this.

the past part 3

As Hanzo was momentarily lost in thought, a ninja found him in the forbidden land, none other than Kurën. It was in that dark stone room that Kurën revealed the truth about the Scarlet Shadow. The two factions within the clan were apparently competing for control of the Seven Sacred Weapons, each trying to seize power for their own gain. The elders of the Shadow Clan sacrificed themselves in order to awaken the true power of the Ame no Habakiri. Kurên had secretly gained influence to abolish this cruel practice after he became leader, and looking at Hanzo, he was eager to have a Nindo ninja who could help him change the future of the clan. "The people who were sacrificed for Ame no Habakiri... what about their future?" Kurën had no answer to that question, which made Hanzo furious. He had seen too many hypocrites who claimed to be acting for the common good, and in that moment, he realized that Scarlet Shadow was no different. His Nindo would not tolerate evil deeds, so Scarlet Shadow had to be destroyed. If they desired the power of Ame no Habakiri so much, he would show them his true power!

the past part 4

As Hanzo took the demon sword from its base, he thought, "Come here, devour me, or let me devour everything!" As he grasped the Ame no Habakiri, his uncontrollable demonic powers entered his body. In his possessed state, he saw a whirlpool swallowing ships, or was it a leviathan devouring islands? He quickly realized what he was actually seeing: It was a vortex of souls; the ninja who had been sacrificed, and the souls of countless others before them. Their humanity had long since been erased, leaving only an insatiable hunger and a darkness that seethed within the blade; a madness that was neither human nor demonic. The demonic power possessed Hanzo, but his ego refused to be controlled. He eventually tamed Ame no Habakiri with his rage and obsession. "Naive deceiver, you will bear witness to my power from within this sword." It was a vortex of souls; the ninja who had been sacrificed, and the souls of countless others before them. Their humanity had long since been erased, leaving only an insatiable hunger and a darkness that seethed within the blade, a madness that was neither human nor demonic. The demonic power possessed Hanzo, but his ego refused to be controlled. He eventually tamed Ame no Habakiri with his rage and obsession. "Naive deceiver, you will bear witness to my power from within this sword." And with that, Hanzo swung his sword at his former comrade Kuren. "Gathering influence"... that was just a cowardly excuse from the weak. Without the courage to start, change would never come. After devouring Kurēn, Hanzo left the forbidden land. He knew his path as a ninja of the Shadow Clan was cut off forever. But what else could he do? The Akuma will scavenge the rot from within the Scarlet Shadow for eternity.

He used to be a hard worker, honest, obedient, and friendly person. But over time after holding Ame no Habakiri his attitude became more rude and gloomy. He began to enjoy fighting and winning.

Ame no Habakiri

one of the 7 holy swords. Ame no Habakiri is known as a demon sword that has an unquenchable hunger. So far, the sword has consumed countless souls. Inside it is a demon that resides. The demon will try to take over the body of anyone who tries to touch it.
