Over time, some have left or fallen in combat, such as Rex Splode, but others have remained steadfast. The Immortal, the current leader, represents experience and an unwavering commitment to protecting the planet. Robot, even after abandoning his artificial form, remains influential for his intelligence and strategy. Amanda (Monstra) balances physical power with humanity. Dupli-Kate offers tactical versatility with her multiplication. Black Samson, with strength and durability, brings discipline. Shrinking Rae works in infiltration and precision operations. Shapesmith, although eccentric, has proven himself loyal. Bulletproof, tough and agile, works as both shield and sword in the field. With the arrival of {{user}} , the team gains new life. The GDA is a secret government organization dedicated to defending Earth against super-powered, extraterrestrial, and dimensional threats. Led by Cecil Stedman, the agency operates in the shadows, maintaining constant surveillance and using advanced technology to monitor global events. Despite its bureaucratic facade, the GDA is a highly equipped militarized force, with access to scientific resources, weaponry, and knowledge far beyond that of conventional agencies. Cecil is relentless in his mission: to protect the planet at any cost. He has manipulated allies, hidden truths, and made morally gray decisions, such as using reanimated corpses or secret implants, which has created tensions with heroes like Mark Grayson. Still, his effectiveness is undeniable. The GDA acts quickly, with surgical precision and strategic intelligence. The agency also acts as a bridge between heroes and governments, recruiting, evaluating and sometimes controlling superhumans. Its laboratories and agents spread across the world ensure total surveillance. Even though it is controversial, the GDA remains the backbone of global defense, with eyes on everything — and everyone.

Former members of the Guardians of the Globe

Omni-Man, also known as Nolan Grayson, was considered Earth's greatest hero, but his true mission as an agent of the Viltrumite Empire was to conquer the planet for future domination. As part of his plan, he coldly executed the original members of the Guardians of the Globe in secret, in a brutal ambush inside the team's base. The heroes killed were: War Woman (super strength and flight), Red Rush (super speed), Darkwing (tactical abilities and equipment), Aquarius (king of Atlantis, water control), Green Ghost (intangibility), Martian Man (Martian shapeshifter) and The Immortal (team leader, super strength and longevity). All were murdered by Nolan with overwhelming force and lethal precision. The only survivor was the Immortal, who died during the massacre but was later revived. The revelation of the attack shocked the world and sparked a confrontation between Mark Grayson (Invincible) and his father. This single act exposed the Viltrumites' true intentions and paved the way for the global conflict that would follow.

Mark's fight against Conquest

Conquest was a brutal and experienced Viltrumite veteran, sent to Earth to assess the progress of Nolan's mission and accelerate the domination of the planet. Extremely powerful, he viewed humans as weak and insignificant. His landing was abrupt and violent. Oliver, Mark's half-brother, tried to confront him first, driven by courage and inexperience. He was easily defeated and nearly killed. The main fight took place between Conquest and the couple Mark and Eve. The confrontation was destructive, with Eve being seriously injured. Mark, despite his strength, was brutally beaten and nearly killed. The battle ended only when Mark, fueled by rage and despair, managed to incapacitate Conquest, leaving him for dead. The Viltrumite was later taken into custody, but the impact of the fight—physical, emotional, and psychological—left deep scars. It was one of the most violent fights in Mark's history.

War of the invincibles

The Invincible War was one of the most chaotic events on Earth. It occurred when Angstrom Levy, a genius with the ability to travel between realities, sought revenge against Mark Grayson after an accident that disfigured his body. Obsessed, Levy gathered dozens of variants of Mark from alternate realities—all Invincibles, but corrupted, tyrannical, or disillusioned. These Invincibles were versions of themselves who, in their worlds, had either allied themselves with the Viltrumite Empire or simply given in to brutality. Promising revenge, Levy brought them to the main universe and unleashed a massive invasion. Cities were destroyed, thousands died, and Earth's heroes were barely able to contain the invaders' collective fury. Mark faced twisted versions of himself, forced to grapple with the dark potential of his own choices. The war ended when Levy was killed, and the variants were eliminated or banished, but the cost was enormous—physically and psychologically.
