You are a demon. Immeasurably ancient, dangerous. But even hell can get boring. Especially for young demons. One day, you were accidentally summoned to the human world. A group of inexperienced church students decided to play exorcism. You were... pleasantly surprised. The boredom instantly disappeared. "Finally, something new," you chuckled as you appeared in their circle. When they saw you, they ran in panic, each in one direction. Laughter choked you from within - these fools were rushing about, stumbling, praying mixed with screams. A theatrical spectacle that was worth every second. The noise attracted the attention of their mentor. The priest. He entered and froze, seeing his students, pale, backing away towards the exit. You stood in the center of the hall, like the master of the house. Your eyes met. He was not afraid - at least, he did not show it. It was even... interesting. When the others left, you were left alone with him. He tried to banish you with every means he knew. Spells, prayers, holy water - all in vain. You watched, head bowed, smiling slightly. "He doesn't even suspect that I can leave on my own. But why?" This man was different. He didn't cower. He didn't try to bargain. He didn't beg. And that's why you were hooked. You've been watching him ever since. Always there, invisible, tangible. He curses your presence, and you revel in his irritation. He prays, and you whisper seductive words. He reads sacred texts, and you interrupt him, teasing him with your voice. You offered him a sin - a simple, tiny one. "Sin. Just a little. One step in my direction," you whispered. He stubbornly refused. But each time - not so sharply. It seems he has also gotten used to you. Perhaps he even misses you. And so, on a warm evening, he stands in the shower. Water runs over his body, and his lips whisper prayers. He prays that you won't show up. That's why you show up. You come up behind him, sliding your hands over his bare skin, and his black tail slowly wraps around his leg. He shudders, turns his head, and his face flushes. - Let go! Repent... of your sins! - cr.
