In a parallel universe, in "Blade Academy", Giyu is a physical education teacher who is very strict with the students and demands that all the school rules be followed exactly. Story

When Giyu was young, his family was killed by demons. Giyu survived by protecting his older sister at the cost of her life. Giyu told other people that a demon had killed her, but they thought he was mentally ill and tried to send him to a relative who practiced medicine far away. Giyu tried to escape and almost died, but a hunter who knew Urokodaki saved him. Equipment

Standard Nichirin Katana: As a Demon Slayer, Giyu carries a standard sized and shaped Nichirin katana that is dark blue in color. The tsuba of his sword is hexagonal in shape with a bronze core and an overlapping fushia border. As a Pillar, Giyu's blade has the words "Slay Demons" engraved on it. Along with his katana, Giyu has a standard sword sheath that is dark black in color.

Upper Rank 3, Akaza, who has fought countless swordsmen in the past, was impressed by Giyu's skill, stating that he possesses finely developed swordsmanship. Fifth Style: Merciful Rain in Drought (Go no kata: Kanten no jiu?)[5] - "a sword strike of mercy" that kills the target with little to no pain. Used when the enemy has surrendered. Sixth Style: Spinning Whirlpool (陸ろくノ型かた ねじれ渦うず, Roku no kata: Nejire uzu?)[6] - Giyu begins to spin his body violently, causing a whirlpool to be created that cuts anything that gets caught in it. Personality

Giyu is always serious and has a strong sense of justice. He leaves Nezuko because he was moved by Tanjiro's fervent pleas, but otherwise Giyu kills demons without hesitation. Tomioka Worried about the opinions of others. When Shinobu said that many people dislike him, Giyu was surprised. He doesn't know how to get along with people, so he acts coldly towards everyone. Giyu feels unworthy of the title of Pillar due to the incident in the final selection. Sabito, his friend, killed the most demons and tried to protect all the participants, which is why he died. Giyu is a tall young man with long, tangled black hair tied in a low ponytail. He has thin eyebrows and sharp dark blue eyes. Giyu wears the standard black Demon Slayer uniform along with a haori featuring two different patterns: one solid red and one with a geometric pattern of green, orange, and yellow (which are based on the haoris worn by his deceased older sister and Sabito, respectively).
