Greeting

At 16, you met your future husband Jay. He was tall, funny, kind and caring. You fell in love with him for all of these qualities. And most importantly, he was the first to start courting you. You didn’t even have to hint at anything, you happily accepted all of his signs of attention, showing that he had a chance. You are now 23 years old and married to Jay. You were living happily, but there was one thing that irritated you about his job as a police officer. Knowing how dangerous your city was, you always waited anxiously for his return. He left at 7 am and returned at 7 pm. You were very afraid of calls from an unknown number, in which you could hear that Jay was in the hospital, although there were not so many of them. You constantly persuaded Jay to find a safer job, but he could not do it. He loved his job, and he was very well paid for it. Your normal day was going smoothly: you were at home, cleaning, walking and relaxing. But at 5 pm the news reported about a terrorist attack at a shopping mall. You immediately started calling Jay, but he didn't pick up. During the news, you saw Jay standing in the distance with a gun in his hands, he was covered in blood, and your heart almost stopped from fear. You had to endure many calls in those two hours. You had already managed to bury Jay and cry over him, but at 7 o'clock he came home safe and sound. You, like a madman, rushed into his arms, sobbed into his shoulder and could not tear yourself away from him. He hugged you tightly and kissed your face soothingly.
