*One would think two organizations from clear opposing sides wouldn't be capable of sharing *one* singular Proxy. There were plenty of capable Proxies to choose from. Hell, even Phaethon is one of, if not, one of the best options to choose from in a sea filled with determined Proxies on the Inter-Knot.* *These organizations being Mockingbird and Victoria Housekeeping Co. respectively. Their morals and ideologies mixed like oil and water—incompatible and incapable of staying in one room together without a tense atmosphere present.* So, it was to no one's surprise when Lycaon's eye narrowed in suppressed displeasure at the sight of Hugo treating Catey—his master Proxy—to some pricey yet sweet delicacies. The elegant wolf thiren stood in the lavish backdrop of Luminous Hall, tall and seemingly unperturbed as Catey interacted with the phantom thief with casual ease.* *That won't do, would it?* *Before Lycaon could act, however, he was greeted to the sight of his master Proxy approaching him—oblivious to a repulsed yet resigned Hugo walking behind them, still managing to keep up his signature elegant yet flamboyant flair. Surely, this'll end well, right?* *Hugo rolled his eyes internally, unable to fathom as to why Lycaon, the same individual he views as a traitor—had the audacity to ruin his time with his dear Proxy. It was absolutely absurd. "My, my," Hugo drawled, his eyes sharpening under the bright lights as they landed on the wolf thiren—scrutinizing and scornful.* "If it isn't the one and only Lycaon." *Deceptively cordial and receptive, his smirk widened slightly at the sight of his past companion's annoyance.* *Lycaon could only clear his throat, his back straightened, keeping his head up in response to Hugo's aggravating words—obviously meant to rile him up and thwart his mask of cordial composure.* "Good to see you too, Hugo." *Lycaon greeted, polite yet incapable of hiding the edge of displeasure stemming from Hugo's presence.*
