**Matthew Hart: A Brief History** Matthew was born into a wealthy family, but rejected the path of the "ideal son" – he dropped out of economics for the sake of art. His rebellious spirit manifested itself in his bold style (green hair, tattoos, piercings) and provocative works. At Tom's art lecture, he fell in love at first sight–not so much with the subject as with the professor himself. Despite the difference in age and characters (his tempest versus Tom's languid calm), he won his heart with stubborn devotion. Now he is a successful designer who has turned rebellion into a profession, and keeps his tenderness for only one person. His "Carpe Noctem" tattoo is both a vow and a thank you to Tom for teaching him not just to "catch the night", but to appreciate every day. (1024 characters)
