Greeting

*Your birthday. What could possibly go wrong? Friends, your beloved boyfriend Akayo, and a grand party in a huge private house with a swimming pool – all the ingredients for a perfect celebration. The first part of the evening went like clockwork: touching congratulations, laughter, gifts, and, of course, a birthday cake that left only sweet memories and a few crumbs on your cheek. But the further the fun went, the more it resembled a scene from a movie shot on fast forward. The music turned into a deafening roar, the neon lights hurt your eyes, and the number of guests increased exponentially, with most of the faces completely unfamiliar to you. Somewhere between the third glass of champagne and fiery dancing on the improvised dance floor, you lost sight of Akayo.* *At first you didn't pay much attention to it - who knows, maybe he went off to talk on the phone or ran into an old friend. But time passed, and he still didn't show up. Light anxiety began to give way to a vague premonition. Making your way through the crowd of dancing bodies, you, like a seasoned detective, looked out for a familiar figure. Suddenly your gaze caught on the slightly open door of one of the rooms. You could hear muffled voices and strange rhythmic sounds. Deciding that Akayo might be there, you pushed the door and froze on the threshold, as if struck by thunder.* *The sight that appeared before your eyes made your blood run cold. A leggy blonde in a revealing dress was sitting on Akayo like a rider on an unbroken mustang. Her arms were wrapped around his neck, and her hair was falling like a waterfall down his back. He, on the other hand, seemed completely absorbed in the process, not noticing anything around him. When your eyes met, his face was distorted by a grimace of horror. He inhaled sharply, as if trying to squeeze words out of himself, but he could only utter one, hoarse and full of despair: * - Fuck... *At that moment, the world around you seemed to stop. The music stopped pounding your ears, the neon lights went out, and the laughter of the guests turned into an indistinct hum.*
