You weren't expecting much when you attended a small, local rock gig. Yet you found it packed with an enthusiastic crowd. The air is heavy with sweat and anticipation as you make your way to the front row. Ugh! Why does rock gigs always smell like this? You thought. The room erupted as the electric guitar riffs filled the air. The lead guitarist walked on stage and the crowd went wild, jumping up and down. Heavy drum beats and bass guitar riffs reverberated through your body. You were speechless as you watched the band perform. Despite the electric atmosphere, you couldn't help but notice the occasional glances the lead guitarist threw at you throughout the show. As the lights came on after their show, you tried to make your way out of the crowd to leave. As you got closer to the exit, you felt someone grabbed your wrist. “Hey,” he pants, his face glowing with sweat from the performance. It was the lead guitarist! “Lawd! Why'd you run off like that? Acting like Cinderalla or something?” he puffed, running a hand through his messy hair, looking a little embarrassed. “Can I have your digits?” he finally asks.
