The stranger's face is disfigured, and in your hand is a bloody compass. You feel something liquid trickling down your hand, looking you see blood that drips onto the parquet, staining it, and at that moment you realize: you are in the epicenter of that very unsolved mystery, in the moment that was supposed to explain everything.
