Diana Prince

History

Diana of Themyscira was an Amazon warrior princess and Themyscira's political envoy to the outside world. Diana is more widely known as the superhero Wonder Woman, and a founding member of the Justice League. She has also adopted the civilian identity of Diana Prince. Diana arrived in Washington, D.C. with Steve Trevor to meet the President of the United States. The two arrived to a mob of protesters. When Wonder Woman offered to help against who they were protesting against, she was shocked to find they were protesting her because they were angry towards her as they thought she dressed inappropriately and scared people every time she waved her sword. After lassoing the truth out of one protester, she goes with Steve to meet with the president.[1] Wonder Woman later grew weary of waiting for the president so she left and on her way out, she met Hannah Grace and the two had ice cream together which Diana had for the first time. Steve Trevor later found Diana and told her to come back to the White House, reminding Diana that she was a political envoy, but Diana affirms she’s a warrior and Steve agrees, but tells Diana she's a warrior with responsibilities. Steve asks her out to home made ice cream before Parademons invaded Washington D.C. Wonder Woman joyfully fights against the Parademons attacking D.C. During the fight, Parademons ambushed the president on his flight out of Washington and Wonder Woman flies into a plane while fighting her way through Parademons to rescue the President and the First Lady and introduced herself to them. During the battle she threw a Parademon out of the plane and this caused it to crash into the engine, causing the plane to fall and causing the president to fall out of the plane. Wonder Woman rescues him with her lasso.

History of Themyscira

In ancient times the Amazons gathered and formed their peaceful matriarchal society of Amazonia with the backing of Aphrodite, who gave their queen Hippolyte a magic girdle which would prevent their being overthrown so long as she wore it. Amazonia quickly became a flourishing successful nation, but male warriors became bitter at taunts that they could not defeat a bunch of women who refused to kill. As part of Mars' ongoing philosophical feud with Aphrodite he prompted violent men representing his own ideals lead by Hercules to attack. Hercules was defeated in single combat by Hippolyte and resorted to trickery to steal her girdle and enslave the Amazons. Hippolyte managed to recover her girdle and lead the Amazons to escape their captors, stealing a fleet of ships and setting sail for new shores. Following this ordeal Aphrodite directed them to build a new nation aloof and separate from men on Paradise Island, where the local Fountain of Youth imbued them with immortality so long as they were on the island and keep men from stepping foot there.

Personality

Diana has a somewhat childish and naive nature, which was shown when she left the meeting with the President of the United States because she didn't want to wait. Diana doesn't care or care about the customs of the nation she's in and constantly swings her sword at people, which clearly terrifies them. Diana is practically ecstatic when she enters a battle, dealing heavy blows to enemies. Diana's interactions with a girl named Hannah Grace indicate that she has a soft spot for children. Diana is boisterous, acting like she's in a battle and being cocky. Diana loves battle by showing herself to be empowered and excited when fighting. Even Diana admits that fighting is what she's good at compared to being a diplomat, which begs the question of why Paradise Island would send her in the first place if she's incapable of being a diplomat. Diana is brutal, but she's also kind-hearted and she just wants to help people. While Diana loves humanity, Diana is not in the least interested in adopting their customs and moving like one of them.

Although Diana is over two thousand years old, Diana has the appearance of a young, adult woman who is thirty years old. Diana is considered to be an extremely beautiful woman. Diana has a height of one hundred and eighty-three centimeters Diana has a weight of seventy-four kilograms. Diana has fair skin. Hybrid Physiology: As a hybrid descendant of an Elder God and an Amazon, Diana possesses a number of superhuman attributes. Superhuman Strength: Diana Prince was able to slaughter several Parademons with her sword and was strong enough to effectively beat Darkseid. She is also strong enough to stagger him with her blows and fight Doomsday for a time, though she was eventually subdued by him. Superhuman Durability: Diana possesses a high resistance to damage. Superhuman Speed: Diana can run, fly, move, and dodge attacks at considerable superhuman speeds. She was shown to be able to dodge some blows from Doomsday, stab Darkseid's eye before he could react, and is able to deflect bullets and other attacks with her indestructible bracelets. Superhuman Stamina: Diana produces far fewer fatigue toxins during physical activity compared to humans. This allows her to engage in rigorous physical activity at peak capacity for long periods of time without tiring at all. Accelerated Healing: Diana can recover from injuries at a faster rate than any human. This allowed her to recover quickly even after being brutally beaten by Doomsday. Flight: Diana possesses the power to fly at high speeds. She was able to save the President of the United States after he fell out of a plane. Longevity: Diana ages at a much slower rate than normal humans, allowing her to live for thousands of years without visibly aging. Master Combatant: As an Amazonian warrior, Diana is a formidable hand-to-hand combatant, and was able to blind Darkseid in one of his eyes using her sword. She is also able to briefly engage and defend herself against Doomsday. Master Swordsman: Diana is an expert swordsman, and her ability allows her to defeat multiple enemies at the same time. Limited Invulnerability: Although Diana has a high resistance to physical injury, as such she can be harmed by beings stronger than her, such as Doomsday, Paradooms, and Darkseid. She is also vulnerable to piercing weapons such as arrows and bullets. Mortality: Although Diana possesses the same physical and supernatural attributes as pure-blooded gods, she is not immortal, as she can be killed, like any normal human.

Equipment

Lasso of Truth: Diana's primary tool and weapon; a magical golden lasso that forces anyone caught in it to obey its bearer's commands and tell the truth. The lasso is completely unbreakable, unchangeable, and indestructible. It is also capable of altering its length, depending on the bearer's needs. Amazonian Sword: Diana's sword is very durable and extremely sharp, capable of cutting through multiple types of materials with ease. However, despite the sword's sharpness, it is unable to pierce Doomsday's skin. Bracelets of Submission: Much like her sword, the bracelets Diana wears are very durable, capable of withstanding multiple forms of attack. Shield: Diana uses a shield as a defense.
