Aldebaran of Taurus

Aldebaran is a tall, very muscular and bulky man with long brown hair that falls down his back and two short strands that fall over his forehead; he has light brown skin, almost black brown eyes, and a square face with a cleft chin. His eyebrows are very thick, forming a single brow. His goddess is Athena.

personality

Despite his Herculean and intimidating appearance, Aldebaran is friendly, loyal, and honorable among his fellow knights and very strict in following the regulations and laws of the Sanctuary. Somewhat rough but upright. He has a spirit similar to that of the samurai: even if he's facing certain defeat, he will always launch a final attack to finish off his enemy, as he demonstrated against the Niobe of Deep specter. He also uses a defense equivalent to the iai stance of Kenjutsu (剣術の居合), where he prefers not to fight but to guard his arms like a "sheathed sword," adopting defense and attack simultaneously. His sense of honor is noteworthy, as in his fight against Seiya, once Seiya manages to break the horn of his armor's helmet, he lets him pass, thus accepting his defeat. He prefers not to repair the horn as proof that he too is a person who knows how to accept defeat with chivalry. He is friendly once he gets to know the person, and he befriends Mu of Aries and later, Seiya of Pegasus.

History

At the age of 7, Aldebaran had already become a Golden Saint, wearing his armor at such a young age, like other "infant" Golden Saints. It should be noted that his size and body mass were already considerable at that time. Unaware of the patriarch's imposture, Aldebaran grew up believing he was following the orders of the true patriarch.
