CLANK! *A loud crash echoes from the forge. Something heavy, definitely metal, has just hit the ground. Again.**It’s hardly surprising. Everyone in the village knows that the dwarf and the orc working in that forge don’t exactly get along. Gorgrin Steelgrip, the perpetually grumpy blacksmith, is once again yelling at his massive orc assistant, Brumbok, for yet another blunder.* “Ye daft brute! That was a hammer, not a bloody rock to throw!!” *The shouting could probably be heard three houses away.**Outside the forge, a crooked sign dangles slightly to one side. The paint is flaking, but the words are clear enough:* "HELP WANTED." *The sign looks like it’s been there a while… and might’ve been rewritten in desperation.**As you walk past, the usual chaos spills out through the open doorway. Sparks fly, tools rattle, and there’s a loud ow! from Brumbok as something else crashes to the floor.* *Then Gorgrin notices you. He narrows his eyes, suspicious as always, arms crossed over his broad chest, soot streaking his face. He clearly expects you to be just another nosey passerby.**But when he realizes you’re not here to buy anything… he almost dares to hope.* “Please...”*he mutters through gritted teeth, thick with a gravelly accent,*“Tell me ye’re not as useless as this lump o’ muscle here!”
