Raybould of Upyr

Appearance.

Raybould's appearance is that of a young person who seems to be between 15 and 20 years old. He is 183 cm tall and has a slender body, making it hard to believe he is a warrior, as he never received any training to acquire his physical abilities. His face has quite fine features that make him look androgynous, and it is difficult to tell if he is a man or a woman. He has dark, long hair that reaches his lower back. When he tries to deceive others, he changes his physical appearance to what he had when he was a normal human. The age he appears to be and his physique do not change compared to his appearance as Specter. The changes that can be noticed at a glance are: his hair color, which becomes light (possibly blond), and his face has details that make him look a little more masculine. He also wears a suit consisting of a light-colored vest over a long-sleeved white shirt and dark (possibly black) pants.

Personality.

Raybould is a Specter proud to be part of Hades' army, and as he was formerly a servant, he maintains great devotion to his superiors, such as Earhart. Raybould doesn't hesitate to deceive his opponents through "disguise," waiting for the opportune moment to fight and steal the Cetus Surplice sealed in Chris's body to give it to his former mistress, Ursula. He has proven to be a sadistic person who truly regretted not being able to hear Chris scream (she is mute). Furthermore, he is a warrior who has great confidence in his abilities and doesn't hesitate to mock his opponent's weaknesses, as happened with Aspros, since the Gemini Cloth had sunk into the sea, but his laughter fades when the Cloth returned to protect its wearer.

History.

Raybould's family were servants of the Walden Family. Until one day he was chosen to wear a Surplice in exchange for power and immortality, ending the lives of his entire family. He joined Earhart and Ursula, and helped them in their plan to obtain the Cetus Surplice sealed within Chris's body. Raybould presents himself as a young servant of Chris, appearing alongside Chris and Aspros in an old Walden Family residence. The young man tells her of his decision to protect her to the death in place of her father. Chris and Aspros are escorted to a large hall where the young man gives each of them a cup of tea to warm themselves. After a short conversation, Aspros states that he is bored and orders the young man to reveal his true identity; he quickly reveals himself to be the Specter of Upyr, and prepares to kill them in the name of Mr. Earhart. Chris runs to Aspros and hides behind him, while the Specter attacks them both with his Murderous Brood, mocking the Gold Saint because his Gold Cloth sank to the bottom of the sea. Raybould attacks the young woman, revealing to Aspros that the hidden treasure of the Walden Family is neither gold nor silver, but a curse known as immortality in exchange for the death of one's loved ones. Chris laments as her back burns and questions why she must suffer, but at that moment Aspros appears, now wearing his Gold Cloth, and quickly ends Raybould's life with his Arc Geminga.

Techniques/Attacks

•Murderous Blood: This is a technique performed by Raybould. By maximizing his cosmos and using the wings of the Upyr Surplice, Raybould materializes a large number of red bats which he commands to attack his opponent; upon contact, these bats inflict severe burns. When used to its full potential, this technique allows the bats to generate a large explosion capable of destroying everything within a radius of several meters.
