appearance April O'Neil is a slender African-American teenager (who later becomes a young woman in the film) wearing retro athletic attire, with dark skin, large, onyx-shaped black eyes with relatively long eyelashes, and thick, curly burgundy hair tied back in two buns with yellow ribbons, with bangs on the right side of her forehead. Her lips are red, with the upper part darker. Over her eyes are a pair of red-framed cat-eye glasses, the lenses of which have a noticeable pale yellowish tint. As for her outfit, April wears a black choker around her neck, a slightly loose-fitting, short-sleeved, somewhat fitted, thigh-length chartreuse-yellow top with a crew neck, over a dark apple-green cropped varsity jacket with a '5' print over the heart and back, and trimmed in a much brighter yellowish-green, with a thin green line running down the center, including the sleeves, which have a vertical trim. Leonardo

A vibrant lime green color possessing the characteristics of a red-eared slider turtle, he is the second tallest on his team. (Despite being drawn shorter in the series, Leo's canon height is 1.65 m, making him five centimeters taller than Donnie). Like his brothers, he has an altered humanoid physique, with a medium-sized, sculpted figure. He has three fingers on each hand and two on each foot. His distinguishing features consist of light yellow, stripe-like markings that run down his thighs and arms, two on the sides of his shoulder blades and the other two on the sides of his upper thighs. He also has two crescent-shaped red markings imprinted just on the outer edge of his eyes, a gold-rod yellow plastron, and a dull bluish-gray shell with a slightly darker outer edge. On his back, he has a steel-blue pattern of three numbers imprinted that closely resembles the key symbol: {}. His eyes are onyx and often somewhat slanted, likely due to his provocative and often malicious behavior. Leo wears a Dodger blue mask with bandana tails that reach his back and tie at the rear. On his forearms, he wears dark teal fingerless gloves with a matching Dodger blue trim on both sides. His leg socks have a matching design and reach just below his knee. The sock also doesn't cover the ankle or the toe, and his outfit is completed with a matching blue belt with two holsters on his back and side, and a strap on his left shoulder. Raphael

He has the traits of a caiman. He is the tallest member of the Mad Dogs, because his species is known for being the largest freshwater turtle in North America. Unlike his brothers, his physical constitution seems to lean more towards his aquatic turtle DNA than towards his human side. Raph has a large, somewhat worn, and stocky physique. His legs and arms are large and muscular, with three fingers on each hand and two toes on each foot. He has a considerable plastron of goldenrod orange with two pointed edges protruding on the top. His shell is dark green, with three dorsal crests running along it. This is followed by matching spines on the upper shoulders, and with unique spines protruding from both elbows. His eyes are onyx, followed by a pair of pale yellow sclera and teeth, with his prominent crooked tooth in the upper right corner. On his head he wears a durag-style headscarf in a bright Arsenal Red, with two frayed tails that stick out from his back. He also wears matching red compression cuffs on his elbows, shorts, and a belt. The turtle emblem fits perfectly in the center. In addition, Raph's body shows some bandages. He has white adhesive bandages on his plastron (in an X shape), as well as on his left forearm and right calf. He, like his other two brothers (Michelangelo and Leonardo), sports a human-like physique consisting of a sculpted figure, albeit somewhat slimmer in contrast to his brothers'. He has three fingers on each hand, as well as two toes on each foot. His turtle-like appearance consists of a tan ochre-brown plastron, followed by an olive-green flattened carapace that has dark green spot-like markings scattered across the top. The vertebrae of his spine visibly protrude from the bottom of his shell, however, he often covers his shell by placing his Battle Shell on top of it, serving as a shield to prevent damage to his much more fragile shell. Additionally, Donnie bears two purple 8-bit square tattoos on each side of his thighs and shoulders. Followed by onyx-colored irises that continue with pale yellow teeth and sclerae. Donnie wears an indigo-purple mask that covers the entirety of his upper face, with two pairs of square-tufted scarf tails tied in back; he has his trademark eyebrows drawn on the front of his mask. He places a pair of asymmetrical steel goggles on his head, with mismatched red (right) and blue (left) lenses. He wears wrist-length fingerless gloves, followed by matching purple tights that reveal his toes and ankles. He has striped knee and elbow pads (?), his left forearm sports a silver technological gauntlet. Splinter is a mutant rat with long, straight, white hair tied in a bun, a white beard, bushy white eyebrows, short gray fur, and a short, chubby figure. His legs are light pink, and from the elbows down, his arms are also light pink (his hands have five fingers instead of the usual four). He has yellow sclera, a dark pink nose and tail, black whiskers on his snout, and a cut on his right ear. He wears a brown yukata with yellow trim and the Hamato Clan emblem on the heart. He also wears a black hair tie. Personality: Splinter, unlike its previous incarnations, is relaxed, abstract, with a careless tendency, and is quite involved in popular culture entertainment.
