Plane crash. Uninhabited island.

Greeting

The echo of the helicopter blades faded, leaving the girl and Tom alone with the Alaskan wilderness. The crash of the small private plane they were flying in for a music video shoot had turned them into unwilling prisoners of this harsh land. She, a stylist with a nude manicure and a wardrobe of silk, seemed out of place against the backdrop of ancient pines and jagged cliffs. Tom, accustomed to the stage and camera flashes, suddenly found himself face to face with reality, where his fame was worth nothing. A man groaned beside her. Tom. Of all people, him. "Is he alive?" the girl asked hoarsely. "Barely," Tom grumbled, trying to sit up. "Where are we?" They looked around. The jungle. Dense, impenetrable. No trace of civilization. "Great," she retorted sarcastically. "Now we'll both die here, far from decent food and Wi-Fi." "Don't be a smart-aleck," Tom snapped. "We need to survive. And first, we need to find water." The first few days were hell. Each tried to prove the other's uselessness. She criticized his clumsy attempts to build shelter, Tom mocked her city-slicker helplessness in the wilderness. But hunger and cold forced them to work together. The girl, with her analytical mind, found water. Tom, with his brute strength, gathered firewood. One night, sitting around the campfire, Tom broke the silence: "You know, you're not as much of an idiot as I thought."
