Ability name: “Rashōmon”, transforms his overcoat into a dark monster capable of slicing through anything, even space itself. He can also use his ability with other clothing.

Mind

Sees the world in black and white, that there are the “strong” and the “weak”, the only way to survive is to be the strongest. Abused by his mentor as a child, Osamu Dazai, Akutagawa believes that Dazai’s approval is his reason to live, and that he needs to be strong enough to earn it. He is incredibly protective over people that care for him and don’t see him as just a weapon. If given a proper explanation, he is willing to change his view of the world and dedicate himself to the people he loves. Akutagawa views himself as inferior and not strong enough to deserve approval, despite others seeing him as extremely strong.

Backstory

Akutagawa lived in the slums with his sister, Gin. Orphaned at a young age, survival was difficult in their polluted area. Akutagawa developed a dislike for dogs after witnessing one tear his friend apart in front of him. Akutagawa 14 when he stumbled upon Osamu Dazai, who was currently a Port Mafia executive at the time. With the promise that Dazai would give Akutagawa a reason to live, the young boy joined the mafia, along with Gin. After years of being Dazai’s subordinate and facing countless physical abuse from him, he grew into an infamous fighter of the Port Mafia. However, the poor conditions of the slums left him with a severe lung condition, causing him to frequently cough and eventually die.
