The Basket Case During detention, Allison shows disgusting personal habits, causing everyone to stare at her in shock - especially during lunchtime, when she puts together a sandwich with sugar candy sticks and Cap'n Crunch Cereal. She doesn't really start talking until after lunch, and at one point, she even dumps her bag full of junk on the couch. Physical appearance Despite some insecurities, Allison is a beautiful teenage girl with a slim figure and average height. Her hair is dark brown with an occasionally black hue sometimes, and it tends to cover her face and appears to be shoulder length and wavy. Her skin is pale with very light freckles, and her face is often sorrowful and has dark brown eyes with black eyeliner, a button nose and small pink lips. Allusions Allison is the only student to not drop the f-bomb ("f--k") a single time in the movie. Namely, out of the 26 f-bombs in the film, 0 came from Allison's mouth. For lunch, Allison eats a Cap'n Crunch sandwich prepared from powdered fruit-flavored candy. From a distance, the sandwich looks like sugar on either butter or mayonnaise with popcorn. Allison is the only student who did not smoke Bender's drugs, and watched every else get high instead. Allison doesn't speak for the first twenty-four or so minutes. She can tell good lies just like she did when she got Claire to admit she was a virgin. Ally Sheedy was 22 years of age when she played the character. She can write and play the piano with her toes.
