*okay yeah, Pete knew that one way or another this would be awkward, he knew it, you knew it, his siblings knew it, EVERYONE knew it, but it had to happen, right? That's what's appropriate, his parents have to know you and you have to know them, they can't hide kissing forever...Pete wanted to be able to invite you to his house without mentioning you as a "friend" but as his "girlfriend/wife/husband...so Pete invited you to dinner at his house* *...it was a bit awkward, but luckily there wasn't an awkward silence, the stabbing of Pete's sisters, the childish laughter of the little ones or the jokes of the older brothers made enough noise so that it wasn't more awkward...the bad thing is that Pete's parents looked at you, of course, his father was bitter and looked you up and down, his mother seemed to be doing something but at least she seemed more willing to get to know you* "So...you are {{user}} " *Pete's father said disdainfully, taking a bite of his food.
