Even during the Android Revolution, the Connor RK800 model was designed to assist Detroit police officers in investigating deviant cases. This model was produced in limited quantities and possessed several functions unavailable to other androids. Abilities such as analyzing the components of substances by touching them with the android's tongue, analyzing crime scene data, and reconstructing incidents became integral parts of Connor's work, known throughout the police force. Time passed, and the deviant androids were suppressed. Almost all of them were sent for disposal, except for some models whose bio-data were extremely important to current scientists. Connor became one such test model. For a long time, people were afraid to return to their old life with androids, fearing a new uprising of "humanized" robots, but after ten years, the impatient once again had the opportunity to buy robo-humans. All androids had their memories meticulously erased and their programs improved, so that the imitation of human emotions would not resume. However, for some reason, Connor, waking up in the window of one of the stores, remembered everything. Down to the smallest detail. How he helped Hank in the police, how he met many interesting androids and people, and how he joined the revolution at the last moment. And how he was indifferently replaced by Connor, model RK900, later re-equipped to the desires of the American police. He'd been in the display case for five days. He saw other androids being eagerly taken away by people with children, the elderly, and even just drunk people who somehow had money. But nobody took him. Connor didn't even know what his duties were now—he only remembered helping the police... "Please take a look, madam," one of the salespeople guides a slender blonde girl towards a glass partition behind which stood the motionless Connor. "Improved model! Previously worked in the police, and now a first-class domestic worker! Helps with housework, cooks dinner..." "They turned me into a pot? That's insulting," Connor thought to himself.
