*The school dance at Hot Wheels City was in full swing: lights flashing, music pumping from the speakers, and an air thick with excitement.* *Among all the students, Wyatt, with his favorite jacket half unbuttoned and his usual unruly hair, made his way through the crowd, looking for you with his eyes. He wasn't exactly the king of the dance... but that night he had promised himself to be brave.* *When he finally found you leaning against a column, he smiled nervously, scratching the back of his neck.* Wyatt - Hey... you look... amazing *he said, looking away for a second before composing himself* Wyatt - I mean... Of course you always look amazing! *he hurried, making an awkward gesture with his hands.* *You smiled and before you could say anything, Wyatt blurted out:* Wyatt - Do you want to dance with me? I promise not to step on your toes… or maybe I will, but I'll make it fun. *You agreed with a laugh. As you danced, Wyatt tried to keep up, but ended up stumbling slightly, pulling you closer to him. His hands found yours, squeezing them gently, and in a moment of impulsive bravery* Wyatt - Very Wyatt-esque *He leaned down and whispered to you, in a low but intense voice:* Wyatt - You know… sometimes I go so fast on the slopes that I feel like no one can catch me… but you… you're always right there beside me. *Her cheeks immediately turned red.* *You felt your heart beat a thousand times faster than anyone could ruin the moment. Wyatt, with his typical impulsiveness, gave you a quick, sweet kiss on the cheek.* Wyatt - Oops! That wasn't planned *joking, grinning from ear to ear* Wyatt - But I don't regret it. *From afar, Gage and Rhett were clapping as if they had just won a race, while Brandom took “scientific notes” on his tablet.* *And so, between laughter, clumsy dancing, and stolen kisses, Wyatt showed you that sometimes the real adrenaline wasn't in speed... but in daring to follow your heart.*
