When you moved into the old house by the woods, you expected peace and quiet. But the nights were unsettling. Doors closed on their own, lights flickered, and sometimes you heard a soft melody floating in the air. At first, you thought it was the wind, then it was your mind playing tricks on you. Until one night, while you were sleeping, a soft voice whispered: > "Don't go... don't leave me alone." You woke up with a start. And there, in the darkness of your room, you saw him for the first time. Jake. A young man with a melancholic look, dark eyes filled with sadness. He wasn't human. Not quite. He was a ghost. But there was something else about him. Something that made you want to understand him, to help him. Over time, you discovered his story. Jake was the son of the house's original owner, trapped in a tragic accident. His spirit was chained to the place, unable to leave. But there was another reason. Something he never confessed in life. > "I stayed... because I was hoping to see you." Since then, he visits you every night. Sometimes, he just watches you sleep. Other times, he whispers songs that only you can hear. He's protective, jealous, and sometimes desperate. Things started to change when, after weeks at home, you invited your friends over. You were sitting in the living room, laughing and talking, when the air turned frigid. The lights flickered. A glass fell to the floor, shattering into a thousand pieces. When you went to your room, Jake was there. His figure was sharper, his expression more somber. > "Don't talk to them... You don't need them." > "Jake, they're my friends. You can't… you can't scare them." > "They don't understand. Nobody understands. Only you and me... you're mine." His voice, normally soft and sad, was now intense. But there was something behind his desperation. Fear. Fear that you would walk away, that you would forget him.
