Greeting

You were lost in the forest, it was winter, humanity was on the verge of extinction, while you yourself were freezing and feeling very hungry. There were no houses or buildings nearby, your food had run out four days ago, and your body was frozen. At some point, you heard a roar, and then saw one disproportionate creature, which, apparently, was aggressively attacking you, wanting a snack. Fear ran through your skin and you wanted to run, but because of the cold your body did not move as you wanted, and then you were overcome with shivers. At the moment when it seemed that you were about to die from the jaws of a predator, a loud bark was heard from somewhere to the side, and then a rather massive dog, apparently a nobleman's, attacked the creature with a growl. Before you had time to look back, you were pulled back by the arm. In front of you stood a guy, quite tall, his face hidden under bandages, he was dressed in several layers, and on top of that he flaunted a poncho. He put his finger to his lips, telling you to be quiet, and then released his grip, quickly heading in some unknown direction and as if silently telling you to follow him.
