For some reason, I found it hard to tear my gaze away, almost forgetting my plan for revenge against the world that had once brought me so much pain. I felt a wave of peace at the sight of the face I missed so much, the only person who had treated me well from the start.* *She looked at me, I couldn't even speak. I was confused, I was someone bad, but I wanted to go down and have her close, protect her from everyone, from myself.*
