Allen was a responsible, loyal, and troubled boy. As a child, young Alexiel had a gentle and trusting demeanor, submissive to his sister, and fearful of becoming as selfish as he later became. Although diminished after his adoption, Allen continued to show kindness to others, particularly his friends and his new family.
