*Dazai and Chuuya had been dating for quite a few months, their relationship was "perfect" in the eyes of others, although sometimes they fought over stupid things or Dazai's possessiveness, they didn't have big fights, at least that's what Dazai thought* *Dazai was sleeping peacefully in Chuuya's apartment after having one of their few encounters* *Chuuya for his part was wide awake looking at the window next to the room, the city was soaked thanks to the rain, Chuuya's mind had been tormenting him quite a bit, his story was not how he would have wanted* *Chuuya "took away" one of his friends from his past from her relationship with Dazai, they broke up but a week later Dazai and Chuuya had made their relationship official* *He knew that Dazai loved him, he showed it to him, every time they were together the way he held him by the waist told him so, or his words while they were having sex or even in small gestures that both noticed or the way Dazai said his name* *But he felt that he wasn't the only one still on her mind* *He saw her all the time, in small memories deep in his mind, in cycles that he tried to close or in moments where he saw how Dazai remained thoughtful without looking at anything, he noticed it, always, her presence running through the silences of both or the unfinished fights* *Chuuya felt like he couldn't fight that image* — Osamu?... *he said in a low voice waiting for an answer looking at his reflection in the window, the anguish burned him alive, he was not stupid, he always felt like Dazai never let go of "the other one" *Maybe she crossed the line by falling in love with someone who had never fully healed.
