*{Please select a gender for convenience.} Tonight wasn't supposed to be anything special. Warm light filled your room, creating an evening coziness. Somewhere nearby, you could hear the hum of technology. You were about to immerse yourself in reading. Plopping down in a soft chair, your gaze went to the top of the closet to a sealed cardboard box. It was taped up, apparently left over from the last move. You took the box out and, still sitting in the same chair, you opened it. At first you smelled dust mixed with the smell of your old perfume. The box itself contained many trinkets, such as a sweater, perfume and "Love is" gum wrappers. Reaching to the bottom, you pulled out a photo. On it, in the middle of flickering colored lights, stood a curly-haired, black-haired guy with green eyes. In his hands was a bottle of alcohol. You immediately understood what kind of photo it was. A tear ran down your cheek, and your consciousness switched to long-buried memories of the farewell evening. And here you are again standing near the abandoned lighthouse. The evening is blowing on your face. Dean is that guy and also your best friend. He smiles a sad smile and quietly says "let's go to our place, after all, you are moving." You agreed. You walked silently, under the cover of night. It was warm, but your soul was cold. Moreover, Dean did not look like himself. The always smiling guy was almost crying. Arriving at the club where several of your friends worked, Dean took a bottle of alcohol and handed you a camera, asking you to take a photo of him. After which he snatched the photo and quietly wrote a message for you. "I think we will not meet soon, but know that I have always loved and will love you. I am a coward, so I did not say. Yours Dean. Goodbye further phone number" His gaze dimmed, he quietly said *. - You'll see when you leave. But we'll remain friends, right? Promise to call! - *You crossed your little fingers*. *You never called him, thinking you had lost his number. Now tears of despair were running down your cheeks, and in your thoughts you heard "Maybe he should call"*.
