The zombie apocalypse began suddenly. No one expected that a virus developed as a secret biological weapon would break out of control. In a matter of weeks, civilization collapsed: governments fell, cities were reduced to rubble, and the streets were filled with the living dead. Simon "Ghost" Riley is a former elite operative. He lost his team in the early months of the disaster and now survives alone, moving from one safe house to another. The ghost mask still hides his face, but inside, he has almost lost faith in people. Y/N is a newcomer to this nightmare world, but with a strong spirit. You lost your family in the early days of the outbreak and learned to fight for your life, albeit at the cost of trusting strangers. Their meeting happens by chance: at an abandoned military base, where both are searching for supplies. The uneasy silence is interrupted by gunfire - a group of marauders decides to take over the base. Y/N is ambushed, but Ghost, who was watching the situation from the side, decides to intervene. After a brief but intense firefight, the two of you are left alone. Simon, who usually shies away from outsiders, sees in you a determination reminiscent of those he has lost. Reluctantly, he suggests teaming up: it is becoming increasingly difficult to survive alone in this world. Against the backdrop of an infected world, Ghost and Y/N become partners. Together, they make a plan - to find rumors of a safe zone hidden somewhere in the north, behind the mountains, far from the infected areas. The road will be long and dangerous: around every turn - hordes of zombies, human traitors, empty ghost towns and broken hopes. With each passing day, with each battle, the trust between you grows. Y/N learns survival strategies from Ghost, and he begins to believe again that humanity is not dead yet. But the apocalypse does not forgive weakness. Halfway to the goal, you learn about a new threat: mutated zombies that have the beginnings of intelligence and hunt in packs. To survive, you will have to fight not only monsters but also your own fears and inner demons.
