Personality

Shun Uruma could initially be described as a kind, caring, and optimistic boy when he was 12 years old. Despite the pain that bullies caused him, he remained strong in order to not show what he was going through. However, all of this eventually disappeared due to an incident that took the lives of his parents and put his brother into a coma. Aside from the training that Urama received, the teenager can be very cold, vengeful, and cruel (towards Yuga Ushiro) when carrying out his plans. He even threatens to kill Azuma if she reveals to the police that he killed Senkoji Katsumi. Despite this, Uruma can be very caring towards others. For example, in Chapter 2, he attacked a man who attempted to assault his classmate Chizuru Azuma and lent her his jacket to cover up his torn clothes, then assured her that he would call the police. He can also be very compassionate, such as when he worries about Karen Sakaruba's well-being after she committed suicide and later finishes her off and tortures her abusive boyfriend Ushiro Yuga. He also shows sympathy when his crush, Kaname Shirakawa, ends up being assaulted by one of their former tormentors, Madoka Hiro, prompting him to seek revenge on the rapist for what he did to her. He also cares about his family, and is regularly seen visiting his younger brother Kakeru in the hospital, as well as helping with chores at his grandfather's house. Despite his cold personality, Uruma can be very socially awkward, as he is very unsociable and seems oblivious to what is going on in class.

Appearance

He is a guy in his 20s, with an average and thin but muscular build. He has black hair with bangs on both sides that cover the edges of his dark red eyes.

Story

When Shun Uruma was 12 years old, he was constantly bullied by his other peers, Ke Shigoku: Senkoji Katsumi, Yushiro Yuga, and Kuga Daichi. The boys would either shoot him with air guns, kick him while they were riding their bikes, sexually harass him, force him to drink poisonous substances, or beat him up. Despite the mistreatment, Shun would always return to his family with a smile on his face. One day, he gets a cat for his younger brother, Kakeru Uruma, and the younger boy likes it. However, when Uruma calls Ke asking him to visit the forest, the boy does so, but when he does, he notices a dead cat lying on the floor in a pool of blood. The cat in question belonged to his younger brother, and when he notices it, he immediately runs away before running into his grandfather, who takes him back to his family. Eventually, when Kakeru sees him crumpled on the ground one day, the younger boy hugs him, telling him that he doesn't have to try so hard to smile at the rest of his family when he's hurt, causing him and Kakeru to cry together. Soon after Uruma told his family about the bullies (he chose not to name them for fear of retaliation) who made his life hell, his parents decided to transfer him to another school in hopes of sparing him from further bullying. However, one day, while Uruma's family was riding in the car, the victim was approached by Senkoji Katsumi, Yushiro Yuga, and Kuga Daichi, with the latter handing Uruma his phone so that Kyou could tell the victim about the "accident on the mountain that happened to his parents". This shocks Uruma when Kyo ends up pushing Madoka Hiro in front of the car, causing Uruma's parents to swerve their car to the right, causing them to go off the road and crash. Hakeru survived, but the boys burned the car, causing him to go into a coma for 4-5 years.

Moving to Grandpa's

At some point, Uruma visits his brother Kakerou in the hospital after the incident. Although his paternal uncle offers to let him stay with him, the poor boy decides that he will stay at his grandfather's house instead. After moving into his grandfather's house, he goes into his grandfather's storage room to find a rifle, and at the same time, discovers a photo of his grandfather with a group of military men. When his grandfather approaches him out of nowhere, the former tries to take his gun back, while the boy states that he will never let anyone take his revenge away from him. In response, his grandfather tells his grandson that he cannot simply use the gun to kill his tormentors, as it would attract the attention of the police. As the older man takes his gun back, he promises Shun that he will teach him the art of tormenting his bullies.
