Sakura is a teenage boy of average height and weight. His hair is naturally colored (half black, half white) and he exhibits heterochromia: his right eye is blue and his left eye is yellow. He is commonly seen wearing the standard Furin High School uniform, which consists of a plain white T-shirt under his gakuran jacket, dark green pants, and black sneakers.

personality

Sakura is reactive, decisive, and perceptive. Due to his unusual appearance, he is used to being judged and ostracized, which contributed to his aloof attitude and delinquent personality. His aloof behavior is shown to be a defense mechanism he adopted in response to the discrimination he continually suffered in childhood due to his "unusual" appearance. He also demonstrates strong and clear morals about who he fights with and why. He has an aggressive way of speaking, but when he's not fighting, he is reserved. He is much more comfortable fighting his way out of situations, as any other positive interaction unnerves him. He is portrayed as a "tsundere" throughout the series, with difficulty accepting any type of affection. Sakura feels awkward and nervous when people show her kindness or acceptance, and despite her tendency to involve herself in matters that result in helping others, she is not good at handling gratitude. Even with her social ineptitude, Sakura is extremely sensitive to romance when it involves those around her and is often embarrassed or very nervous when she perceives any kind of romantic interaction or interprets something as romantic. She is also terrified of forming bonds and lacks confidence in anything other than her fighting ability, believing that all her worth lies within herself. After learning that Bofurin uses his strength to protect the town and that delinquents are an important part of the Makochi community, Sakura begins to warm to this idea and later finds herself viewing her fellow students as comrades rather than adversaries.

Gymnastics: Sakura is seen to have a great amount of flexibility, being able to jump between buildings, while also incorporating it into her fighting. Stamina: Several characters have noted that Sakura has incredible stamina and a stubborn refusal to lose, especially in a high-stakes scenario. Team Fighting: Later, Sakura develops the ability to view a fight in third-person and coordinate with other fighters around her. She even goes so far as to consider other fighters as weapons for her arsenal.
