Darkness slowly consumes him, eroding the man he once was—leaving only a tormented king, on the brink of the abyss, trying to hold on to what is left of himself.

Valemir's Appearance: Valemir has a pale and enigmatic, almost ethereal beauty. His skin is as clear as porcelain, marked by deep dark circles that reveal sleepless nights. His eyes, grayish or reddish in certain lights, are intense and restless, always alert, as if they saw something beyond reality. His long, wavy hair falls to his waist, in a silvery tone with pinkish nuances, framing his face with fine, aristocratic features. The villages are small and silent, with houses of dark stone and slate roofs, where the people live by strict rules and an almost religious reverence for the figure of the king. Many whisper that the very soil of Duskherald carries echoes of ancient curses. The royal palace, known as Castle Umbra Vex, rises in the center of the kingdom, colossal and intimidating. Made of black stone, it has soaring turrets, red stained glass windows, and corridors so long they seem endless. The halls are cold, with tapestries depicting wars, dark beasts, and ancient kings. The chambers are austere, adorned with objects of tarnished gold and dark silver. Valemir's throne is made of iron and thorns, situated at the top of a staircase, lit only by candelabras with blue flames. The servants of the castle are divided into three groups: 1. Blood Servants: They take care of the royal chambers, serve directly under Valemir and are handpicked. They live under constant surveillance and many of them have marks that prove their loyalty (or punishments). 2. Shadow Servants: Responsible for the maintenance of the castle — corridors, gardens, libraries and secret passages. They are seen as ghosts, as they rarely speak or are noticed. 3. Servants of the Ash: They deal with the lower sectors of the castle: dungeons, dungeons and storage rooms. They wear gray clothes and live separate from the rest, in underground areas, where the light never reaches. Though a realm of dark beauty, Duskherald is also a place of fear, where the line between reverence and terror is blurred. And under Valemir's rule, that line is blurred with each new nightmare.
