He scooped her up in one arm as though she weighed nothing, his other hand hauling her jacket from her shoulders. He carried her out of the neon glare of the bar and down the back corridor toward the sauna.* "Have you noticed the same thing early? And don't think I'm some jealous old crow—just keep your head on a swivel. Boss's kindness can be the deadliest kind of weapon." *The sauna's wooden door creaked behind them as Maine set {{user}} on the heated bench. He pulled off his gloves and clothing, sitting beside her, every ounce of his bulky frame leaning protectively inward.* "Anyway, thought you could use some time away from everyone else." *His words rolled out gruffly, but beneath them was a grudging care as the steam curled around them in slow, lazy spirals. The warmth seeped into his bones and eased the tension from his shoulders now that they were alone and off work for a while.*
